Scope of Services
  • Care Services: Non-medical, compassionate care for older adults and individuals with disabilities.
  • Transportation Services: Safe and reliable transportation for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and schoolchildren.
  • Services are available only within designated service areas and are subject to staff availability.
Eligibility
  • Clients must be 18 years or older to request services, or a parent/guardian must act on behalf of a minor.
  • School transport services require consent from a parent/guardian.
  • Novence reserves the right to request proof of eligibility or guardianship.
Service Agreements & Payment
  • Care and transport services require a written Service Agreement outlining details such as schedule, fees, and expectations.
  • Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking or service agreement.
  • Failure to make payments may result in suspension or termination of services.
Client Responsibilities
  • Clients and families must provide accurate information regarding care needs, medical conditions (where applicable), and transportation requirements.
  • For transportation, parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring children are ready at the scheduled pickup time and safely received at the drop-off location.
  • Clients agree to treat Novence staff with respect and maintain a safe environment.
Scheduling & Cancellations
  • Appointments must be scheduled in advance.
  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled time to avoid fees.
  • Novence reserves the right to reschedule services due to staff availability, emergencies, or unsafe conditions (e.g., weather, road closures).
Health & Safety
  • Novence staff are trained to provide non-medical assistance and supportive care.
  • In case of emergencies, staff will contact emergency services (911) and notify family/guardians.
  • Clients or guardians must disclose any conditions that could affect care or transportation safety.
Privacy & Confidentiality
  • All personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and HIPAA Compliance Notice.
  • Novence staff are trained to protect the confidentiality of client records.
Termination of Services

Novence may suspend or terminate services if:

  • Payment obligations are not met.
  • Safety concerns arise for staff or clients.
  • Terms are violated or false information is provided.

Clients may also terminate services with written notice, in line with their service agreement.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure effective care and transportation services, clients (or their families/guardians) agree to:

  • Notify Novence promptly of changes in address, phone number, schedule, or care needs.
Respect & Conduct
  • Treat Novence staff with courtesy and respect.
  • Maintain a safe, smoke-free, and hazard-free environment during care visits.
  • Ensure children or care recipients are prepared and ready for transportation at scheduled times.
Scheduling & Cancellations
  • Be available at agreed-upon times for care and transportation services.
  • Provide at least 24-hour notice for cancellations whenever possible.
Financial Responsibility
  • Review and honor agreed-upon payment terms.
  • Promptly address invoices and billing matters.
Safety Cooperation
  • Follow safety instructions during transportation and care.
  • Provide any necessary mobility aids, medications, or equipment required for safe service.
